Clerkenwell Design Week, the UK's leading design festival, celebrated London's creative hub. Thousands of products, 600 events, many installations, more than 160 showrooms, current affairs talks and much more. It lasted from 23 to 25 May 2023. Zaha Hadid Architects hosted "Defining Spaces through Material & Light" in collaboration with ERCO, an exhibition by Zaha Hadid Architects with a showcase of bespoke materials.

This special exhibit featured responsive lighting design, a showcase of bespoke materials, and a series of inspiring talks from leading industry experts.

Being a space completely dedicated to products that allow maximum customization, i-Mesh has also found its showcase.

7 mineral fiber panels were exhibited (carbon, basalt, volcano, technora, zylon and glass fiber) with 7 different patterns.

The innovative parametric technology with which the fabric is designed and manufactured allows the creation of completely customized fiber panels, soft composites of any shape and size.

This leads to zero waste production and the creation of a fabric with controlled performance throughout.

In this way, the use of raw materials is optimized in favor of an environmentally friendly approach.

A design approach that elaborates models and prototypes using parametric software, associated with an innovative construction technology, places i-Mesh among the most advanced materials currently available.

i-Mesh is in this sense the paradigm of "Industry 4.0", where Technology, Mathematics and Art meet to create human comfort.

We thank Zaha Hadid Architects for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
