We closely work side by side with the research departments of several Universities in order to test, analyze and push i-Mesh’s performance boundaries beyond our current possibilities, interlacing technologies and know-how from different disciplines.

In this project, a “Smart Solar House” designed by the students of La Sapienza University in Rome. i-Mesh was utilized as a performing material in several solutions: a heat reducing roll-up curtain on a facade, a retractable sunshade of an internal courtyard and as a tailor made soft divider inspired by Middle Eastern aesthetics.
