In this project, i-Mesh has been used to create a double curtain system. i-Mesh was selected not only for its decorative function but especially for its features related to energy balance and thermal comfort.
In the Ghella Conference Hall, i-Mesh has been used to create flat curtains. i-Mesh was chosen not only for its decorative role, where lights and shadows dance together incessantly, but also for its functional potential due to its features of energy balance and thermal comfort, which are crucial aspects of bioclimatic architecture. This ensures a strong yet permeable result, guaranteeing a durable yet lightweight final product. The building incorporates various aspects of a highly complex structure, all engineered for peak levels of environmental sustainability certified by LEED. Every construction element has been meticulously designed and prefabricated to optimize construction logistics.
The eco-sustainability of a building is no longer limited to the most ambitious designers but should be considered a strategy to enhance cost reduction and future maintenance.
